Does it work on my van?
I have a Ford E-150 1988 with an 351 5.8 LT engine and two gas tanks. Can this unit work on my van? I know that I will probably have to make a hole on the roof, but does this unit work on electricity from the van or from gasoline? If it works, what do I need extra to it?

Question
Can this be mounted on a fiberglass bubble top on camper van?
I have a 1979 Chevy Panel Van which has been converted to a camper with a fiberglass top. The in-dash A/C is no longer working, too old to be replaced; if the roof mount can be mounted on the fiberglass using same opening as the vent I would buy it.

You may need to modify that orginal vent. As well you may be able to use the duct unit to restore this lost function
