is gaping required for these spark plugs?

answer 1
Yes, as was said all plugs require gapping. Even if they are "pre-gapped" from the manufacturer you never know what may happen durring shipping. The unique design requires the use of a "wire loop" style gapping tool rather than the common tapered disc or feeler gauge.

You will need to check with your owners manual on Iridium plugs, Please go over the motor thoroughly and ensure that plug wires are snapped on the plugs all the way and that none of the plugs were dropped during installation. If you call (800) 603-4383 (7 days a week, 8am - 6pm) a Product information specialist will be happy to help guide you to diagnosing the problem.

Question
E3.56 vs E3.68 for Toyota FJ Cruiser?
E3's own catalogue from 2006 or 2007 listed the E3.56 for the Toyota FJ Cruiser which is what Pep Boy's tried to sell me. I know they now list the E3.68 for it. What happened and which one does JC Whitney carry? The reach on the .56 is shorter than the .68 and I don't want the wrong plugs.

I just confirmed with JCWhitney via phone that they are selling the 3.68's, so they are the correct plugs. I've gone ahead and ordered them.
