Question
will this guage work in a carburated 1979 chevy k10 pick up?
1979 K10 pick up, with an edelbrock carb. 350ci v8 stock cam and exhaust manifolds.

While it will technically work if you install a narrow band O2 sensor in your exhaust, it really won't give you a lot of useful information. For a carbureted application you would be much better off using one of our wideband air/fuel gauges. This will give you the exact ratio in real time. This makes it quite easy to properly jet your carb and tune the fuel curve/timing. The nature of a narrow band O2 sensor would really only give you a close approximation of the ratio and only under higher throttle conditions.
