I didn't. However, I don't think it would be a problem--I may try it later this summer. Either your anchor point will hold or it won't. I'd feel confident letting it hang for a couple of months. A year, I don't know... I would periodically check to make sure the lift points aren't stressed enough to warp the top though.

It's not a top, it's a lift to take the hard-top off.

The system as it attaches to the top is the same; difference is that manual system will have an additional pulley and cleat, instead of the power winch.

ZX299605 will also work with the 3 piece top.
