Question
When installing exhaust tips: If I measure the OD of my tailpipe and it measures 2 1/2", do I buy tips with an ID of 2 1/2" or slightly larger?

if you have an od measurement, id is specified to slide relatively firmly over an od. so yes, if you have 2-1/2" od, order a 2-1/2" id inlet tip. slightly larger will be too loose. if you have an id outlet, you will want to order an od tip, this would slide inside.

Possibly. Our tips do not have screws in them. We recommend welding the tips on, it looks much better than a screw, and is a much better connection.
