How does one wire this device?
I am thinking about putting this backup alarm on my '06 Prius: how does it connect to the car's electrical system? Thank you!

Easy. Find the wire going to your backup lights. Splice into it. If you don't know what a splice is, ask the guy at your auto parts store and have him/her show you the wiring device to do this.
